On Saturday July 6, Côte d'Ivoire inaugurated an incubator dedicated to the development of products derived from cashew nuts.

The opening session was held at the Center for Cashew Innovations and Technologies (CITA) in Yamoussoukro. The incubator, called Cajou Foodtech, is a project supported by the World Bank as part of the Cashew Value Chain Competitiveness Promotion Project (PPCA). It consists of a 400 m² production unit capable of processing 200 kg of almonds and as many cashew apples daily. It offers services adapted to the needs of SMEs, in particular the training of project leaders, technical assistance for the development of new products, and the use of its technical platform to increase production.
