AFNIS 2024 aims to exploit Africa's vast natural resources in a sustainable manner, by stimulating economic growth and by promoting the development of cleaner and reliable sources of energy. According to Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, AFNIS 2024, is an initiative of Core International Mining Company in collaboration with the Federal Government of Nigeria. It is not only a gathering of minds but a convergence of visionaries committed to transforming Africa's natural resource landscape

According to Dele Alake, the common goal is to exploit Africa's vast natural resources sustainably, to stimulate economic growth, to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to promote the development of cleaner, more accessible and more reliable sources of energy.
