The monthly minimum wage for the public service is double what was in force until now. However, this gesture is limited in scope given the rate of inflation in the country and far below the requests of organizations. The minimum wage, which until then was 30,000 naira, is therefore increased to 70,000 naira, or around 34 euros. Federal employees, civil servants, airport workers, and public teachers will benefit from this wage increase in Nigeria.
