Sonatel has exceeded 2,000 billion CFA francs in market capitalization at the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM).

Sonatel is the Senegalese telecommunications operator has reached exactly 2,020 billion FCFA. This performance was marked by an increase in the share price to 20,200 FCFA, its highest level in six years. Sonatel has regained its position as the largest company listed on the BRVM, thanks to this increase. It surpasses Orange CI, whose capitalization recently fell by 65 billion CFA francs. This jump was supported by a significant increase in stock market transactions, with a total amount traded of 1.08 billion FCFA, of which nearly 70% involved Sonatel, or 735.38 million FCFA. This dynamic reflects the confidence of investors in Sonatel's growth prospects, despite a negative overall market performance that day, where the BRVM Composite and BRVM 30 indices fell by 0.21% and 0.28% respectively
