La Société Générale and the Beninese State have signed an agreement providing for the total sale of the group's shares (93.43%) in Société Géné ; rale Benin (including its branch in Togo), with all customer portfolios and all employees

The proposed sale between Benin and Société Générale is subject to the approval of the entities' governance bodies, to the usual suspensive conditions as well as to the validation of the competent financial and regulatory authorities. The transaction would have a negative accounting impact of around 25 million euros on third-quarter results. It would have a positive impact of around two basis points on the group's CET1 ratio at finalization, expected by the end of the first quarter of 2025
