BOA Mali has again been awarded the long-term A- rating by the financial rating agency Bloomfield with a stable outlook.

BOA Mali is the first subsidiary of the BOA group created on December 20, 1982. The validity period of the rating is from June 2024 to May 2025. “High credit quality” was used by the rating team to explain the long-term rating. The rating team also re-awarded the short-term A1 grade with a stable outlook. In the short term, Bloomfield reveals as justification the certainty of timely repayment, which is good. The rating is based on the following positive factors: a strong resilience of the bank in a difficult context in Mali; a good execution of the actions of the strategic plan at the end of 2023; a continuation of financing the economy despite the decrease in resources; an activity that remains profitable; an activity that remains profitable; compliance with all regulatory ratios; an improvement in the quality of the portfolio.
