On Friday, August 9, the mining company Alliance Mining Commodities (AMC) paid an envelope of 933,811,220 Guinean francs (GNF) to the communities of the rural communes of Wendou M'Bour and Koumbia. The mining company AMC intends to respect the codes of local content, social cohesion and corporate social responsibility (CSR)

AMC's financing envelope represents the surface tax for fiscal year 2024. According to the Deputy CEO of Alliance Mining Commodities (AMC), Amadou Kéita, “the payment of this tax is a way of participating in the development of affected communities in Gaoual prefecture in particular, and in Guinea in general. We want these taxes to contribute to the financing of the local development plans of the communities impacted by our project and that they be managed with perfect transparency in the interests of the communities concerned.”

For his part, the president of the Wendou M'Bour special delegation, Amadou Oury Sy, welcomed the open collaboration between AMC and local communities and promised the efficient use of this amount allocated to the socio-economic development of their respective communities.
