The objective of the AfCFTA training workshop is to improve participants' understanding of the ZLECAF agreement and its challenges, in order to get them to take ownership of it in order to act as a relay to the executive secretariat and facilitate its implementation. According to the executive secretary of CN-ZLECAF, Fatoumata Fofana, all regional departments in Abidjan as well as those in the interior of the country are present for this training, in order to become direct relays with economic operators. The aim of the training is to enable beneficiaries to use the operational tools of the ZLECAF, to direct economic operators to the information points, and to explain to them the advantages of the agreement as well as the rules of origin

Participants were trained to guide operators to relevant websites to get information on countries that have ratified the agreement, offers from other countries, and other essential items.
