The Chief Executive Officer of the Société Nationale des Hydrocarbures (SNH), Adolphe Moudiki, reaffirmed the company's determination to prosecute and convict all those involved in the Glencore case.

The Glencore case has shaken the industry since 2022. SNH seized Glencore following allegations of corruption. On November 3, 2022, the style="font-family: "Bookman Old Style”, "serif"> company was convicted by the Southwark Crown Court in London for acts of corruption committed between 2012 and 2015 in several African countries between 2012 and 2015, including Cameroon. Moudiki's statement comes as the hearings of the managers and employees of the multinational Glencore have been continuing before the British courts since September 10, 2024. SNH tried to obtain from Glencore the names of agents potentially involved in these illicit activities
