Copper prices continued to rise on Wednesday. They hit highs of more than two months.

Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange was up 0.4% to $9,833.50 per metric ton at 03:29 GMT. The contract reached $9,913, the highest level since July 15, earlier in the session. The most traded copper contract in November on the Shanghai Futures Exchange rose by 1.8% to 77,460 yuan ($11,038.91) per ton, also the highest level since mid-July

SHFE aluminum increased by 1.4% to 20,180 yuan per ton, nickel added 2.2% to 128,530 yuan, zinc jumped 3.6% to 24,635 yuan, zinc jumped 3.6% to 24,635 yuan, lead increased by 0.7% to 24,635 yuan, lead increased 0.7% to 16,740 yuan per ton, and tin fell slightly by 0.1% to 260,370 yuan.

LME aluminum rose 0.3% to $2,563 per ton, zinc jumped 0.7% to $3,029, nickel added 0.4% to $16,770, lead rose 0.1% to $16,770, lead rose 0.1% to $2,086.50 per ton, while tin fell 0.6% to $32,490.
