The annual inflation rate recorded 26% for the month of September 2024 compared to 40.3% for the same month of the previous year, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics.

The annual inflation rate for the whole of Egypt recorded 26% for the month of September 2024 against 26.25% last month according to the monthly report of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, published on Wednesday 9 October. The annual inflation rate was 40.3% in the same month of the previous year

The general consumer price index for the whole of Egypt reached 236.5 points for the month of September 2024.
