The cryptocurrency was up just over 1% on the day, to $99,380, and is on track for its best monthly performance since February. Its value has more than doubled this year and has increased by around 45% in the two weeks following Mr. Trump's sweeping election victory. This rise has made bitcoin one of the main winners of the “Trump transactions.”
