The Air Senegal National Pavilion is proud to announce the renewal of its IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certification for two (2) years.

According to a press release, this certification issued by IATA (International Air Transport Association) attests to Air Senegal's compliance with the highest standards of operational safety in the aviation industry.

The renewal of this Iosa certification, obtained after a rigorous evaluation of safety standards, testifies to Air Senegal's commitment to strengthening its standards, despite the difficulties encountered. This label allows the airline to pursue its international ambitions and to consolidate its relationships with airline partners around the world.

In August 2023, after obtaining its first Iosa label, Air Senegal initiated a partnership with leading airlines to strengthen its international presence. Codeshare agreements have been negotiated with major players such as Royal Air Maroc, Air Côte d'Ivoire, as well as Air France, in order to facilitate connectivity and expand its network of destinations across Africa, Europe and beyond. These partnerships are essential for the company, which aims to become a major player in air transport in West Africa and to position itself as a strategic bridge between Africa, Europe and America

However, this growth dynamic also requires an adjustment in fleet management. Following the May 2024 incident, Air Senegal seems to have changed its aircraft rental policy, opting for solutions better suited to its safety and performance ambitions. The acquisition of the latest generation aircraft and the strengthening of technical controls are now at the heart of its strategy to guarantee optimal service quality and increased reliability on the global market.
