BMCE Capital Global Research (BKGR) reported that the average bank liquidity gap narrowed by 2.08% to 142 billion MAD (MMDH) during the period from 19 to 25 December.

L'évolution du déficit de liquidité bancaire intervient alors que les avances à 7 days from Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM) ont progressé de 1,17 MMDH à 63,5 MMDH selon la récente note BKGR Fixed Income Weekly. Les placements Treasury weeklies have for their part recorded a strong increase with a maximum daily outflow of 14.5 billion DH, compared to 12.4 billion DH in the previous period. For BKGR, during the last session of adjudication , the Treasury raised only one round for a very small amount of 100 million Dirhams (MDH) against a proposed total of 2.25 billion Dirhams (MMDH), i.e. a satisfaction rate of only 4%.
