The rise of electrical wiring interconnection systems is boosting the aviation industry in Morocco. Thus, sales growth in the assembly segments reached 17.23 billion dirhams according to the recent bulletin of monthly foreign trade indicators from the Office des Changes

This evolution is explained by the increase in sales in the Assembly segments from 23.6% to 17.23 billion DH and EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) from 1.5% to 9.1 billion MAD.

This bulletin also reports an increase in exports of phosphates and derivatives from 13.1% to 86.76 billion dinars, including 63.82 billion dinars of natural and chemical fertilizers, 14.41 billion dinars of phosphoric acid and 8.52 billion dinars of phosphates.

For its part, the automotive industry improved its exports by 6.3% to MAD 157.6 billion, benefiting from the increase in sales in the “Interior Vehicles and Seats” (+18.1%), “Wiring” (+18.1%), “Wiring” (+6.5%) and “Construction” (+4.9%) segments.

In addition, exports of “agriculture and agri-food” and “electronics and electricity” increased respectively by 3.1% to 85.81 billion dinars and by 0.1% to 18.34 billion dinars, while those of “textiles and leather” fell by 0.5% to 45.88 billion dinars.
