In January 2025, imports of goods from Senegal in the UEMOA zone were estimated at 6.7 billion compared to 4.7 billion the previous month. The information was published by the Directorate for Forecasting and Statistical Studies (Dpee)

The Dpee announced that goods imports represent 0.8% of the total value of goods imports, a drop of 0.2% in monthly variation. Côte d'Ivoire remains the leading supplier in this zone with a share of 83.8%, a decrease of 0.1% compared to December 2024. “Edible fruits and vegetables” (16.8%), “plastic and artificial materials” (6.2%) and other sugars (4.7%) are the main products imported from

this country.
