The government of the Republic of Niger signed a far-reaching joint venture agreement with Suvarna Royal Gold Trading LLC on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in the solemn premises of the Maison de l'Uranium in Niamey.

The government's ambition is to build a gold refinery, establish a jewelry manufacturing unit, and build a workshop dedicated to the cutting and polishing of precious stones.
