To meet its budgetary needs, Guinea-Bissau obtained the sum of 15 billion CFA francs on the UEMOA financial market following its issuance of a simultaneous auction of 182 and 355-day treasury bonds (BAT) as well as comparable 3-year treasury bonds (BAT).

The issuer had put an amount of 15 billion CFA francs up for auction. In response, investors made him global submissions of 39.027 billion FCFA. This corresponds to a coverage rate of 260.18% for the amount put up for auction.

The amount of tenders accepted was 15 billion FCFA and that rejected 24.027 billion FCFA. This gives an absorption rate of 38.43%

Investors whose bids were selected will end up with a weighted average return of 8.82% for 182-day bonds, 9.17% for 355-day bonds, 9.17% for 355-day bonds and 10.21% for bonds.

The Bissau-Guinean Public Treasury undertakes to repay vouchers issued on the first working day following the due date set at December 16, 2025 for those of 182 days and on 18 May 2026 for those of 355 days. On the other hand, interest payments will be made in advance and deducted from the nominal value of the vouchers

As for the repayment of the principal of the bonds, it is expected on the first business day following the due date set at March 25, 2028. Interest will be paid per year at the rate of 6.25% from the end of the first
