As part of its digital transformation plan, Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) is continuing to
deployment in sub-Saharan Africa through its network of “Banque Atlantique”, Atlantique Mobile,
an application with several major innovations. Already operational in Ivory Coast, Atlantic
Mobile is now available throughout the WAEMU Francophone area: Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger,
Senegal and Togo.
Accessible to everyone on Google Play Store for Android devices as well as on Apple App Store for iOS,
Atlantique Mobile is a fully customizable application that combines ergonomics and agility to offer a
optimal customer experience. It allows its users, beyond the traditional services of consultation and
transaction, to pilot their cards as well as their bank accounts in complete safety.
Among the many innovative features that this application offers are authentication
biometrics, facial recognition, card limit change, activation and deactivation
of it, the money transfer service without a bank card "Mobile to GAB" to any
beneficiary or the "Cash-Out" transfer service operational on all ATMs in the network
Banque Atlantique covering the 8 countries of the WAEMU zone.
"With 'Atlantique Mobile', Banque Atlantique becomes the first financial group in the WAEMU region to
offer a completely free application, centered on the user, integrating new functionalities and
features ranging from facial recognition to changing the card cap,” explained Kamal.

Ivory Coast in January 2019.
Developed with Payment Center for Africa (PCA), a Squad Factory subsidiary of the BCP group, this new
application thus completes the transactional system in place, in order to offer the best experience and
guarantee a high level of service to customers of Banque Atlantique subsidiaries.
Several improvements based on artificial intelligence, built using the "Design Thinking" method
» are also added to the versions of the Atlantique Mobile app.
