Saturday July 17, 2021, at the Cercle des rails in Plateau, Mesmin Komoé, PCA of the Mutuelle générale des civil servants de Côte d'Ivoire (Mugefci) took stock of his results from 2017 to 2021. Until February of this year 2021, the number of care sheets liquidated by the MUGEF-CI is 167,667 representing a benefit charge amount of 421,349,735 CFA francs”. He deemed it appropriate to recall that "it was after the plea led exclusively by MUGEF-CI that the State of Côte d'Ivoire agreed to the payment of an employer's share of 50% of the CMU contributions of civil servants as well as their beneficiaries but limited to 8 people. The same plea led to the State taking charge of the 3-month waiting period as well as access to CMU benefits for all civil servants, even those not yet enrolled in the CMU. This provision also ends on December 31, 2021.

Thus, he warned, however, that considering "the circular note that has just been sent to us by the Ivorian Agency for the Regulation of Social Mutual Funds (AIRMS), no mutualist will be able to benefit from the benefits of the mutual if he is not previously enrolled in the CMU". He recalled in his report that in 2020, an additional list of 406 new drugs came to reinforce the care basket of the compulsory complementary plan, increasing it to 2013 drugs. In addition, a Mutual Relief Fund has been set up and this fund has provided benefits amounting to more than 160 million.
