This allows us to say that dialogue is a weapon of the strong, as recalled by the President, Félix Houphouët Boigny”, he explained. According to Daniel Kablan Duncan, the base of the private sector in Côte d'Ivoire is too narrow, it must therefore be widened: "There are few taxpayers at the level of the private sector with 31 or 41 thousand products which are concerned, so that in Cameroon there are at least 200,000. The informal system is important in Côte d'Ivoire and it must be helped to move from the informal to the formal so that the shortage is better distributed to the entire private sector. We must go to the customs sector (import and export), to talk more about the real economy (endogenous). The value added tax (VAT) bases must be lower, go lower than 10%”.
