This is its lowest level for at least a year. Year-on-year, inflation fell from 2.8% at the end of September 2020 to 2% a year later. The rate will have been the highest in Cameroon with 1.1%, far from the Central African Republic (0.4%), Congo and Gabon (0.2%). Overall, inflation was driven by food and non-alcoholic beverages (3.3%) and transportation (1.8%) over the review period.
