The Complaints and Denunciations Analysis and Processing Unit (Cpd) has been set up at the Presidency of the Republic for any act or fact that may harm the general interest. This device allows ordinary citizens to denounce acts of corruption.

This new system was created at the end of the Council of Ministers of this Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Installed at the Presidency of the Republic, it is a central system for collecting complaints and/or denunciations against of any public official, whatever his level of responsibility. A new instrument for the detection of wrongdoings and their prosecution, in support of existing systems. The Unit for the Analysis and Processing of Complaints and Denunciations (Cpd) will therefore have the task of analyzing complaints and denunciations as well as the evidence provided by complainants or whistleblowers, encouraging citizens to monitor the rendering of accounts by those with a grain of power, and to put in place a strengthened mechanism for investigating suspected cases of corruption.
