Senegal loses two points in the report on the perception of corruption (Ipc), made public by Transparency International. The document points out that the country finds itself with the score it had obtained in 2014.

The 2021 IPC results revealed that Senegal loses two points compared to last year and sinks into the red zone with a score of 43/100. Despite its progress observed from 2013, Senegal had finally stagnated in the red zone from 2016 to 2020 with a score of 45/100. The results of the 2021 CPI show, however, that Senegal is regressing with a score of 43/100 thus losing two (2) points compared to last year's CPI. It should also be noted, like Senegal, that no WAEMU country obtained a score of 50/100. All the eight (8) countries of the UEMOA zone are in the red zone.
