General managers have published the group's business results at the end of the first quarter of 2022. The data show an increase of +16.1% in net banking income.

The Group's net banking income, driven by very good momentum in all business lines, was €7.281 billion, up +16.6%.

According to Fréderic Oudéa, Group Chief Executive Officer, this first quarter confirms the solidity and resilience of our business model with a sustained performance of all our businesses in a more uncertain environment, an improved operational lever and a contained cost of risk.

Retail Banking activities in France posted strong growth with net banking income excluding PEL/CEL provision up +6.4% /Q1-21 reflecting upward momentum in both net interest margin and financial and service commissions.
