To finance its strategic deployment in Africa in the CIMA zone and outside of CIMA, the Société Commerciale Gabonaise de Réassurance (SCG-Ré), a subsidiary of the Gabonais Investment Fund Strategical (FGIS), intends to go to the stock market in the CEMAC subregion (BVMAC) to raise 5 billion CFA francs. This is an essential step for it in its ambition to become the first reinsurer in the CIMA Zone, based on its fundamentals and a profitability of more than 8%, 5 points above that of the Gabonese market.
