In the third half of 2022, the telephone operator Orange made a huge profit. Contrary to last year, it made 252 billion in profits, or a net profit of 200.3 billion CFA francs according to the Brvm.

Orange's turnover for this year was 1.080 billion compared to 252 billion in 2021, over a period of one year. It thus achieved an increase of 9.7% compared to the previous year. In fact, the mobile telephone operator saw an increase of 1% with nearly 40 million customers in the 4 countries (11.8 million in Senegal). The Internet, for its part, totaled 15.4 million users with an increase of 5.2%.

Moreover, Organe Money has had difficulties in recent years. However, it grew by 13.6% to 10.1 million users.
