Following an issue of stimulus bonds (ORD) from the Treasury with terms of 3 and 10 years, the State of Togo raised 33 billion FCFA on the UEMOA financial market on Friday, November 11, 2022.

UMOA-Securities indicates that it has listed 34.084 billion FCFA in global submissions from investors. The issuer had put the sum of 30 billion FCFA up for auction. This gives a coverage rate of 113.61% of the amount put to auction.

The amount of the tenders accepted was 33 billion FCFA and the rejected was 1.084 billion FCFA. This gives an absorption rate of 96.82%. Investors whose bids were successful will end up with a weighted average return of 5.44% for 5-year bonds and 6.04% for 10-year bonds.
