On Monday, November 14, 2022, a partnership agreement was signed between United Bank For Africa (UBA), and BNB money transfer. Their aim is to facilitate the monetary transaction for their customers via an application.

UBA and BNB think of limiting the travel of their customers by implementing BNB CashApp, a digital application. Indeed, BNB CashApp can be downloaded on the App Store and Play Store according to the creator of this app. Its purpose is to facilitate monetary transactions for customers without taxing them the cost of travel. Thus, while at home, the user can receive money from a foreign country and deposit it into his UBA account.

Bappathe Barry, the head of customer service at UBA, thinks this partnership is timely. “We really needed it because of our strategic orientation in the digital field, which consists of empowering our customers for all financial transactions. We are omnipresent in the field of money transfer, we are among the leaders in this country. We just thought about finding a way to put at the disposal of our customers to receive the transaction discreetly, in a very simplified way across the world. ” he said.
