The Ordinary General Meeting of the National Bank for Economic Development (Bnde) met on Thursday, 14 April 2022, to take stock of the 2021 financial year. The Bank came out with a net result of CFAF 2.793 billion as at  31 December 2021.

The General Meeting unanimously approved the Bank's results as at 31 December 2021 which amount to FCFA 2.793 billion fully set aside for strengthen the Bank's own funds". According to the document, the evolution of the Bank's balance sheet total, which stood at "332 billion" recording an annual increase of "53 billion or + 19%". The level of loans to customers and SFDs stands at 157.8 billion CFA francs in 2021, with an increase between the two years of 12%".
