Offer a rapid deployment of clean energy at no upfront cost to the customer. With this in mind, the Norwegian company Empower New Energy has signed an agreement with Arab Medical Equipment Company (AMECO). This partnership will make it possible to build a 2.5 MW solar power plant.

The solar power plant will be dedicated to the power supply of Ameco's facilities in Ramadan City. It will be built in several phases, the first of which is 500 kWp. Empower New Energy estimates that by the end of the project, the solar plant will be able to produce 4.4 GWh of solar energy per year. For AMECO, the largest manufacturer of single-use syringes in the Middle East, this project will allow it to reduce the environmental impact of its activities. Indeed, the installation should reduce the equivalent of 2,125,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.
