The members of the African Network of Broadcasters (RAT) held their second General Assembly on Thursday and Friday in Dakar. The meeting focused on "the challenges and stakes of broadcasting operators at the time of the switch to Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT)".

The General Assembly recorded the participation of broadcasting institutions from Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger, Togo, and Senegal. During the two days, the interventions focused, among other things, on themes such as "rights of way: base and recovery strategies" and "the economic models of broadcasting companies". Presentations were also made on themes related to digital identity in the West African space.
