The State of Côte d'Ivoire has successfully carried out a new raising funds on the regional financial market, mobilizing 40 billion CFA francs through an issue of Assimilable Treasury Bills (BAT) at 91 days, according to the results of the auction published on Tuesday by Umoa-Titres.

The amount put up for auction was 360 billion FCFA. Overall investor bids were 556,382 billion FCFA. Which corresponds to a coverage rate for the amount put in auction of 154.55%.

The amount of successful bids is 396 billion FCFA and the one rejected at 160.383 billion FCFA. Which gives a rate absorption of 71.17%.

Investors whose bids have been successful, will end up with a weighted average return of 5.39% for bonds of 77 days ,5.32% for 84-day ones, 7.40% for 5-year bonds ,7.44% for those aged 7 and 7.14% for those aged 15.

The Ivorian Public Treasury has undertaken to repay the bonds issued on the first business day following the due date of December 23, 2025 for 77-day vouchers and by December 31, 2025 for 84-day vouchers. Les interest will be paid in advance and deducted from the nominal value of these good.

The principal of the bonds will be repaid on first business day following the due date set on October 8, 2030 for Those aged 5, on October 8, 2032 for those aged 7 and on October 8, 2040 for those aged 15. On the other hand, interest payments will be made annually based on a rate of 5.70% for bonds with a duration of 5 years, 5.95% for those of 7 years and 6.25% for those of 15 years and at the end of the first year.
