A the result of a simultaneous issue of auction of assimilable treasury bonds (BAT) with a duration of 182 days and recovery bonds (ODR) of the 5-year treasury, the State of Côte d'Ivoire obtained on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 the sum of 53.153 billion FCFA at the level of the financial market of WAEMU.

To finance its budget, the Ivorian State had put 65 billion FCFA up for auction. The total amount of bids is CFAF 103.954 billion. This gives a coverage rate of the amount put out to tender of 159.93%. The successful bids amounted to CFAF 53.153 billion and those rejected to CFAF 50.801 billion. This gives an absorption rate of 51.13%. The bonds issued are redeemable on the first business day following the due date of October 25, 2022. Interest is payable in advance and deducted from the face value of the vouchers. The issuer intends to repay the bonds on the first business day following the maturity date of April 27, 2027.
