To meet the financing of its budget, the State of On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, Burkina Faso obtained from investors the UEMOA financial market the sum of 32.999 billion FCFA as a result of its simultaneous issuance of an auction of bonds and bonds similar to treasure of 364 days, 3, 5 and 7 years completed.

The issuer had put 30 billion CFA francs up for auction. The total amount of bids made by investors was 36,005 billion FCFA. This gives a coverage rate for the amount put in auction of 120,02%.

The amount of successful bids is 32.999 billion FCFA and the one rejected at 3.006 billion FCFA remaining. Which corresponds to a absorption rate of 91.65%.

Investors whose bids have been successful, will find themselves with a weighted average return of 7.53% for the good ones, 6.76% for 3-year bonds, 6.85% for 5-year bonds and 7.15% for 5-year bonds 7 years.

The issuer has committed to repay the vouchers first business day following the due date of November 4, 2026. For what is of the payment of interest, it will be made in advance and precounted on the value nominal value of these vouchers.
