Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo, who came to represent the government at the plenary session of deputies last Thursday, announced the budget estimates for 2023 to 2025.

"In 2023, the budget forecasts would amount to more than 6,000 billion CFA francs, a very revealing figure on the ambitions of the Government," said the State treasurer. He also stressed that the average growth rate will be 7.8%, with a peak of 10.5% in 2023, thanks to the start of the exploitation of hydrocarbon deposits. Over the same period, inflation will average 3.8% according to Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo. It should be recalled that the rectifying finance law for the year 2022 has been set at 5,556.7 billion CFA francs, more than double the 2012 budget, which was set at 2,452 billion CFA francs.
