funded by the group

Mauritania. This meeting was held under the collaboration between the
Ministry of Economic Affairs and Development and the Group of
World Bank.
The portfolio of Group of the World Bank en
Mauritania is characterized by a balanced distribution between sectors
keys, including sustainable development, energy and infrastructure,

have undergone a remarkable evolution in recent times, reaching a value
current total of 1.13 billion US dollars, or about 44
billion ouguiyas, divided between the sectors of human development and
sustainable, mining, energy, social protection, agriculture and

The Minister of Economic Affairs and
Development, Mr. Abdellahy Souleymane Cheikh Sidya, said in his
speech that this exam was an opportunity to consult on the
cooperation, by taking stock of the projects implemented in the country.
According to the minister, the World Bank has accompanied Mauritania's development efforts over the last few years decades and that it is currently funding 20 projects as part of its cooperation portfolio, including 11 national projects and 9 regional projects.
