The General Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Cassation arrested this Saturday, December 18 in Kinshasa, the former governor of Kongo-central, Atou Matubuana. According to judicial sources, he is currently in the Gombe dungeon.

The last judicial decision of the Council of State had rehabilitated the former governor in his functions. But, he never resumed said functions, coming up against the refusal of execution of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
