The headquarters of the General Directorate of Security On Sunday, December 4, 2025, the meeting between the National Director was held General of National Security, Ali Badaoui, and a high level of delegation police officer of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. The meeting led by General Mohamed Lahreïtani, Director General of National Security Mauritania is part of the framework of the strengthening of the relationships of Algerian-Mauritanian police cooperation. It started with interviews bilateral agreements between the Director General of National Security and his counterpart Mauritanian, before the working session expanded to include the delegations of two countries.
On the occasion, the Director General of National Security welcomed the level of police cooperation between the two countries, stressing the need for continue to strengthen and develop cooperation mechanisms, particularly in the areas of police training and development specialized, the exchange of expertise and professional experiences in the field of scientific and technical forensics, as well as in the fight against transnational organized crime
