This envelope will be used to finance the activities of SMEs. The announcement was made by Léonce Yacé, its Managing Director, this Tuesday, February 11 on the second day of the J-Cap 2020 in Abidjan.
“This is a first in our market. We are a subsidiary of a pan-African financial group with an obligation to find innovative and adapted solutions, mechanisms that allow us to continue our activity in compliance with the regulations,” he said.
This operation is carried out with a strategic partnership of the International Finance Corporation, which acts as a reference institutional investor with a subscription of 17.5 billion FCFA.
“This support from the IFC reflects the confidence that leading investors have in our institution. It is the fruit of a long work, the fruit of an upgrade, in terms of transparency, governance and innovation”, continued Léonce Yacé, Managing Director of Nsia Banque Côte d'Ivoire.
NSIA Banque presents itself today as the precursor of a securitization operation on the WAEMU financial market. The success of this operation should make investors want to take more interest in this type of operation and banking players to move towards this type of solution.
