For a total amount auctioned of 35 billion FCFA, the Ivorian public treasury ended up with total bids of 38.500 billion FCFA. Agence UMOA-Titres reports that these submissions come from three countries out of the eight that make up the WAMU financial market: Côte d'Ivoire (24 billion), Senegal (11.500 billion) and Benin (3 billion).
The rate of coverage of the amount auctioned was 110%.
Of the amount of investors' bids, the issuer withheld 37.500 billion FCFA and rejected the remaining billion FCFA, representing an absorption rate of 97.40%.
With the exception of Côte d'Ivoire (where 23 billion FCFA were retained out of the 24 billion proposed), all the other submissions were accepted.
Reimbursement of the bonds will be made on the first business day following the maturity date set at March 4, 2025. Payment of interest will be made at an interest rate of 5.85% per year from the first year.
