APA-Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire) The Ivorian government that wants to facilitate access for small and medium
companies (SMEs) to loans, plans to renounce the Tax on banking operations, in order to lower
the credit rate and support private investment.
The state wants to "save" the Banking Tax to allow SMEs to have
access to credits, said Monday in Abidjan the minister to the Prime Minister, in charge of the Budget and
of the State portfolio, Moussa Sanogo on the occasion of the 4th edition of the National Day of Partnership
State/Private Sector.
He said that this accompanying measure is being studied and should be submitted to Parliament. La

formally constituted and contribute 20% to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
