The major energy player in Africa, TAQA Morocco, announced that it has won 5 prizes for the development of solar sites awarded by the Moroccan Sustainable Energy Agency (MASEN). As part of this Noor PV II Solar Program, the prizes awarded are located in Sidi Bennour and Kelaat des Sghrana.

Lot allocation is the first phase in the process of developing a potential of 96 megawatts (MW) of solar energy. In a second step, TAQA Morocco will finalize the technical and commercial development of the solar sites. It should be noted that the award follows the international call for projects relating to the design, financing, construction, operation, maintenance and marketing of the producible of the Noor PV II multi-site solar program within the framework of the no. 13-09.
