From November 30 to December 6, 2035, the first edition of ECOFEST 2025. The event was organized under the collaboration between Senegal, ECOWAS and UEMOA. The announcement was made on Thursday 20 last November, at a press conference held in Dakar.

Planned under the theme “Socio-political changes and crises in West Africa: what role can culture play? ”, the regional festival, ECOFEST, aims to highlight the role of culture in to the ever-changing challenges of West Africa. It positions the event as a platform for dialogue, creativity and reflection politics. The festival will offer round tables, exhibitions, shows and collaborative cultural activities aimed at promoting unity and to deepen regional integration.

This launch marks an important milestone in strengthening cultural cooperation between Senegal, ECOWAS and WAEMU, as the region continues to go through political transitions and safety issues.
