In Egypt, the government inaugurated this Wednesday, a suspension bridge over the Nile. The new infrastructure, with six traffic lanes in each direction and measuring 67.3 meters in width, has just broken the record for the widest suspension bridge in the world.

Crossing the Nile for 16.7 km, in the center of the capital, the new bridge is part of a highway stretching from the Red Sea in the east to the Mediterranean coast of northwestern Egypt. . Read more
