held a round table Investment devoted to the financing of the National Plan of
development (PND) 2024-2028 of the CAR. The president of the
Central African Republic (RCA), Fustin Archange-Touadéra, members of his
Moroccan government and executive as well as decision-makers and donors of
funds took part in this meeting in Casablanca.
The purpose of
the round table held over two days for Bangui is to attract 12.8 billion
dollars in investments by 2028, mainly in infrastructure,
safety and education. The country wants to “massively reduce” poverty,
build 2,300 kilometers of paved national roads, lay 3,000 kilometers
of fiber optic cables and increase the electrification rate to 38%, to

African Development Agency also announced the increase of its
portfolio to support the implementation of the PND. She would make a contribution
minimum of 60 million euros which could be increased fivefold. Others
donors and investors from Gulf countries, Europe and
from Asia expressed interest in the PND.
For the president Central African, Fustin Archange-Touadéra, the PND 2024-2028, developed by his government, will constitute over the next five years “the framework for design, reference and implementation of public policies aimed at to improve the living conditions of the Central African population.”
