The company goil PLC , an important player in the distribution of hydrocarbons in Ghana, plans to put in service 12,000 additional tons of gas storage capacity of liquefied petroleum (LPG).

This project involves the expansion of infrastructures existing ones to accommodate new reservoirs and extend the network of stations in several regions, including Accra and Kumasi. The company plans also to modernize its logistics terminals, including that of Tema which is already equipped of a modified bitumen terminal used for road applications. According to management, the new facilities will increase coverage of storage, currently limited to two to three weeks of requirements national, and to ensure a more stable supply throughout territory.
