The Guinean State will benefit from a line of 105 million dollars. This sum was released by the French Development Agency (AFD) and the World Bank and will be used to finance the rehabilitation of electricity networks in the Greater Conakry region. This part of Guinea includes Coyah, Dubreka and Manéah, but also the installations of the regions of Forécariah and Kinda.

This envelope is also intended to support the implementation of projects of the Guinean Agency for Rural Electrification. This will involve financing the implementation of off-grid electrical solutions in around ten isolated rural localities.

With this fund granted by the World Bank and AFD, some 82,000 households in urban areas and 3,000 households in rural areas will have access to electricity.
