A press release published last Sunday, November 16 mentioned that the ECOWAS Commission finalized last Friday in Nouakchott, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. The agreement aims to strengthen the harmonization and improvement of systems statistics in West and Central Africa.

The agreement signed between the ECOWAS and Mauritania are part of the Harmonization Project and the improvement of statistics in West and Central Africa (HISWACA), funded by World Bank . It will allow you to support the Mauritania's participation in regional standardization activities statistics conducted by ECOWAS, while offering technical assistance and opportunities to share experiences.
