The leading pan-African alternative investment firm focused on investment management in Africa, African Capital Alliance (ACA) announced on Wednesday, November 24, that it has taken a stake through its CAPE IV fund, in West Indian Ocean Cable Company (WIOCC), a hyperscale infrastructure provider in Africa.

The structure has informed that this investment is part of the $200 million fundraising in WIOCC. These resources should enable WIOCC to develop its expansion projects in Africa, but also to accelerate its investment in improving the continent's digital infrastructure. Established in 2007, WIOCC operates a hyperscale communication platform that provides essential services to its wholesale customers in 30 countries in Africa and many more around the world.
